Lucky Electric Power Company (LEPCL)
LEPCL was incorporated in Pakistan in the year 2014, as a public unlisted Company. The project involves development, construction and operation of a coal fired Power Plant with a capacity of 660MW. The LEPCL project will be based on a supercritical cycle to utilize the benefits of higher efficiencies and, thereby, reduced fuel costs over the life of the project. The unit size and steam conditions selected for the project is typical of modern coal-fired units. The Power Plant will consist of one coal-fired generating unit with a maximum gross capacity of approximately 660 MW, and a net capacity of about 607 MW. The estimated project cost for setting up the plant is around USD 1.0 billion and the project will be financed on 75 : 25 debt equity ratio. Private Power Infrastructure Board (PPIB) has issued Letter of Support to the Project.
